When you become a medical parent, you quickly realize that your “diaper bag” turns into an entire mobile medical supply closet.

Every trip out the door means packing medications, feeding supplies, emergency equipment, formula, syringes, extra clothes, and so much more.

As we have shared before at just 7 weeks old, Colton contracted bacterial meningitis. Today, he is deaf, blind, G-tube dependent, lives with epilepsy, and has Cerebral Palsy. Colton’s dedicated family spends countless hours traveling to specialists, therapies, and hospital appointments, sometimes driving more than six hours in a single day. Knowing his medications and formula are organized and stored safely would give them one less thing to worry about.

That is why the Findlay Force and Epix Hockey have partnered to provide a reliable bag and cooler to Colton and his family. Both organizations know first hand how expensive medical life can be, and we know that something as simple as the right bag can make a world of difference on the hardest days.

Our hope is that we can help other families in the community like ours feel a little more supported this hockey season.
